Madewell is one of my top 5 favorite stores, so when I found out a few months ago they were coming to the Twin Cities, I was thrilled!  I first discovered it (many, many years ago) while shopping in Vegas, which is also where I discovered Anthropoligie (long before we had any) by the way, and I loved it.  It has become my go to place for sweaters, since it seems like all of my favorites are from there, and a must stop (often many times) when I'm in a town that has one.  

For those of you that live in the area (or have one in your area) and like J.Crew (Madewell is J.Crew brand), you have to check it out.  As for me, I will be heading there today, and might just have to buy a few of the items pictured.  We do have holiday card photos coming up.  ;)  They opened today at Southdale in Edina.    

{Local Find} Sugar Sugar Candy

Happy Friday everybody!  I hope you all have exciting (or not so exciting if that's what you're going for) weekends planned.  I have a pretty jam packed Saturday, but I might have to squeeze in a trip to Sugar Sugar Candy.  They posted some fantastic pics today on their Facebook page of Mother's Day gifts they have put together.  I particularly love the ones packaged in vintage hat boxes (pictured above).  How stinking cute is that!  I was also blown away by the candy necklaces they have (middle right picture).  Can you believe that is edible?

{Local Find} Patina

Hey everybody!  The first Local Holiday Find in the series is the always lovely Patina.  It is one of my favorite places to go to find unique gifts for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, etc., but they also have AMAZING Christmas gifts.  If that weren't enough, their holiday decoration selection is wonderful.  I was in there last week and picked up an adorable felt snowman and bird.  I can't wait to put them out!

{Local Find} Papersita

This week's Fab Find is an amazing paper store called Paperista.  I stopped in there last week, and I am hooked.  I was able to meet the owner Antoinette while I was there, and she was such a sweetheart.  Besides all their pretty paper, they also offer custom design services, specialty printing, and custom stationary.  Make sure and check out their fun blog too.

{Local Find} Nadeau

A few weeks ago the Groupon of the day was to an amazing store called Nadeau.  I had never heard of it before, but scooped one up because I have a new house to furnish.  I finally went to check it out yesterday and wow!  Their items are pretty unique and very reasonably priced.  I definitely recommend checking it out.  They have locations all over the country.
