Happy Wednesday blog friends!  I hope you are all having a great week so far!  This week's Lovely Pins is all about winter white, with a little bit of spring tossed in there for good measure.  We leave this weekend for our annual Winter Getaway with friends, so I have snow on my mind.  After it's over, I'm ready for spring to come!

Happy Friday everybody!  I hope you all had a wonderful week!  This week's Fab Find is an online shop called Sosie.  They have lots of wonderful things to choose from, and almost everything is under $50.  You could buy everything listed here for $360 (subtract $90 if you don't want the clutch).  Pretty impressive for 3 dresses, 2 belts, 2 skirts, a shirt, and a fabulous bag.  I have the top middle dress, and I love it!  I pair it with dark blue tights, a coral necklace, and my camel colored riding boots.  It's super comfortable and very flattering!

{My Life} New York Workshop

Hi friends!  On to my exciting New York news!  I signed up for a workshop in New York next month that is being put on by these lovely ladies, Holly Becker from Decor8 and Leslie Shewring from A Creative Mint.  They decided to take their Blogging Your Way e-course (which I've taken not once, but twice now) on the road.  I am very excited to have such a great excuse to head to New York!

Happy 1st Birthday Serendipitous Things!

Happy weekend everybody!  I hope you all are having a fabulous day!  Today is a pretty exciting day for me because it's my blog's 1st birthday!  (See my first post here.)  It's been a great year!  Words can not express how much blogging has made a difference in my life.  While all my non-blogging friends might not understand, I know all my blogging friends certainly do.  I've learned so much about myself through blogging, which is definitely not something I expected when I started it. Not only has it been a great creative outlet for me.  It has also brought me many other things....great new experiences such as The Creative Connection and my upcoming trip to New York (more on that later), great new blogging friends that I wouldn't have met otherwise, and maybe even a new career path (only time will tell).  

I can't wait for another great year on Serendipitous Things.  Thank you all for reading!  

{Fab Find} But Another Innocent Tale a.k.a. BAIT

This week's Fab Find is a lovely online shoe store called B.A.I.T., which stands for But Another Innocent Tale.  All of their shoes are not only super unique and adorable, but they are also very affordable.  I absolutely love the Ida's (bottom left pair).  I'm definitely going to have to order them when they are available!

{Lovely Pins} Hot Pink

Happy Tuesday everybody!  It doesn't matter if you call it florescent, neon, or hot pink.  One thing is for sure, it will grab your attention.  I never used to be a big fan of colors in the neon family, but then I saw this post from Leslie at A Creative Mint a while back.  I've been slowly warming up to them ever since (I'm almost fully on board).  I particularly love it when it is just used as a pop of color, paired with basic neutral colors.

{Fab Find} Mary Kate McDevitt on Etsy

Happy Friday everybody!  I hope you all had a wonderful week!  Today's Fab Find is  lovely Etsy shop by Mary Kate McDevitt.  She specializes in hand lettering and illustrating, and her stuff is absolutely dreamy.  The colors that she uses match up perfectly with everything we've been seeing right now in fashion and decor.  My favorite item(s) in her shop have to be the little chalkboards.  They are fantastic!  Along with illustrations and chalkboards, she also has a lovely collection of cards, calendars, signs, and recipe cards, so be sure to check out her Etsy page.
